Eazi-Apps have just released a new mobile app for Zen Lifestyle, an award winning Salon and Spa in Edinburgh. The app has been designed to give new and existing customers the opportunity to order and pay for treatments directly through the mobile app. This has now opened up new possibilities for Zen Lifestyle who for the first time are allowing their customers to make purchases on the move.

As an incentive to download the mobile app, Zen Lifestyle also offers their customers an instant 10% discount off their next treatment with an integrated QR coupon. This is a simple mechanism with a built in QR reader within the Zen Lifestyle mobile app and once this has been downloaded onto the customer’s smartphone, they are then able to scan a QR code in one of Zen Lifestyle’s salons to redeem the offer.

Zen Lifestyle have also incorporated a push messaging system within their mobile app. This will allow them to send out push messages to everyone who has downloaded their mobile app; this will remind their customers about special offers around special dates in the calendar, such as Valentines, Mother’s Day and Christmas. They are also able to send out push messages when they want to promote specific special offers to their loyal customer base.

Users are able to take photos of themselves relaxing at one of Zen Lifestyle’s salons with the ‘Lifestyle Cam’. When the user submits the photos through the mobile app they will be entered into a ‘best photo’ of the month competition; giving them to opportunity to win a Zen Lifestyle voucher.

Zen Lifestyle’s mobile app has also enabled them to create a social media buzz around their salons by integrating their Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest accounts within the mobile app; helping to increase their online presence. This allows Zen Lifestyle’s customers to easily comment, rate and recommend their favourite salon to their friends and family.

The Zen Lifestyle mobile app also allows their customers to subscribe to their email newsletter. This gives Zen Lifestyle the opportunity to send out their latest offers and deals.
