Google unveils new ‘Android KitKat 4.4’ operating system.

This new deal between Google and Nestlé has come after Samsung, Android’s biggest user, has revealed that it will soon be launching its own operating system, ‘Tizen’. Also, Mircosoft’s Windows 8 operating system is also expected to grow further after its recent acquisition of Nokia, making it the third largest operator in the market.

With 1 billion smart phones currently using Androids operating systems is it expected that the new ‘KitKat’ system will give Android’s software the ability to run on less powerful devices, and therefore expanding and consolidating its already dominant presence in the market.

The increase in competition between operating systems and handset providers is on the increase with Apple launching its latest update IOS 7 in September, the growth of this massive market is only expected to increase further.
